      This Opportunity

      Seeking an Airfield Operations Coordinator supporting CENTCOM countries in Iraq. As an Airfield Operations Coordinator – You will provide the day to day administrative and operational support for the Airfield Operations sub-sections

      Your Impact

      • Disseminate daily duty and task schedules to the department sub-sections
      • Submit the POs and workorders and materials request to meet the logistical needs of the department and its sub-sections.
      • Keep the departments CDRLs, workload trackers, accountability, and all required documentation filed and archived IAW the VGS document control SOP
      • Communicate effectively w/military personnel and be familiar with airfield SOP and AOI
      • All personnel are expected to help and work within all the department sub-section if needed, if the task does not require a special license and/or certification.

      Who You Are

      Required Qualification

      • Must have computer skills and be able to operate a variety of computer programs.
      • Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently
      • Must maintain a valid driver’s license from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date.
      • Must maintain a valid passport from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date
      • Must satisfy and maintain CENTCOM MOD-17 medical requirements Must be able to gain and maintain authorized entry onto US military installations.
      • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.

      Additional Required Qualifications

      • Will be required to maintain authorization for a CAC card.
      • Must be able to communicate with ATC (Air Traffic Control) in English via 2-way radio and maneuver a vehicle safely anywhere on the airfield.
      • Communicate effectively with military personnel and be familiar the airfield SOP and AOI
      • Must have the ability and knowledge of how to interpret NOTAMs and aviation weather reports.
      • Must have the Ability to read and interpret technical publications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
      • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Work is performed primarily outdoors under all types of weather conditions with exposure to loud noise, exhaust fumes, and various types of chemicals.
