      Pay Range: Compensation for this position is $21.71/hr plus an estimated additional ROA annual compensation of $13,500 - $14,900 based on division performance.

      Basic Job Functions:

      • Operating on site scales and associated computer programs
      • Receiving goods and services
      • Weighing and purchasing inbound scrap and alloys, obtaining required information from customers for all transactions, complete purchasing and shipping documents and daily reconciliation of transactions.
      • Provide additional support to the various operating and administrative department as required.
      • Receive radiation training and understand the requirements of monitoring the radiation detector. Perform weekly sensitivity checks on detector.
      • Control traffic patterns in yard and direct customers to proper location to unload materials.

      Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Must have strong attention to detail with ability to analyze, interpret and present data findings.
      • Comfortable working within a manufacturing environment
      • Minimum of 1-year previous customer service experience
      • Basic math, account reconciliation, computer, and data entry skills
