      What you’ll do
      It’s safe to say, there’s no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:

      • This position is accountable for monitoring and supporting inbound merchandise flow from vendors to distribution centers to ensure company service level agreements (SLA) and purchase order (PO) requirements are met within required timelines.
      • Monitors daily freight bookings with North American (NA) carriers including special freight movement
      • Reviews and reports on shipment plans scheduled in Transportation Management System (TMS) and PO booking systems; communicates status and actions with carriers and Distribution Centers (DC).
      • Responsible for ensuring continuous inbound merchandise flow between three consolidation centers, located in both US and Canada; executes exception shipments by leveraging Visibility system to review exception reports.
      • Analyzes visibility milestone reporting and operational dashboards to identify and advise on merchandise flow interruptions; shares findings with internal and external partners and provides commentary on opportunities or risks.
      • Key contact for carriers and service providers.
      • Prepares monthly carrier performance reports and presents findings to Logistics operations team.
      • Partners with DC’s and carriers to support inbound flow at DC yards including removing empty trailers, identifying non-compliance deliveries or non-TJX freight.
      • Identifies, recommends, and implements continuous improvement initiatives for North American Inbound operations

      What you’ll need
      To begin your career with us, we require the following:

      • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in logistics, transportation, and supply chain environments.
      • Post-secondary education in a related field or discipline (e.g. logistics, supply chainz). Other academic discplines will also be considered.
      • Strong analytical skills: the ability to identify problems, investigates issues or discrepancies and recommend cost-effective solutions.
      • Strong data analytics software experience (e.g. MS Excel) to complete reporting and analysis with the ability to identify and quantify impact to respective business areas and/or the organizations’ bottom-line.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication ability.
      • Demonstrated relationship building skills; collaborates throughout the department, builds trust with vendors, merchants, and carriers.
      • Strong organizational skills with ability to implement and manage details, prioritize tasks, effectively manage time with limited supervision.
