Job Description

- As a key team member, you will be responsible for the requirements documentation, solution design, construction, testing, implementation, and systems integration.
- Promotes the use of standard system functionality to enable warehousing and logistics processes that meet business requirements.
- Oversees the delivery of new and complex solutions in response to unique business requirements.
- Engages in and supports all integration aspects of system designs and proposed solutions.
- Participate in the design, build, validation, implementation and maintenance of IT application systems in support of our current, and future business needs.
- Performs solution verification to ensure the solution is built in accordance with the specifications meeting business and technical requirements.
- Performs SAP configuration as required to support the warehousing and logistics processes.
- Performs end-to-end system testing.
- Provide ongoing assistance on all process improvement as well as change management activities resulting from process improvement initiatives.
- Proactively identifies any training-related issues impacting Hubbell business units and engages the training leads as required.
- Participates in development and maintenance of security profiles for processes within the area of responsibility.
- Completes all change management activities required to comply with corporate governance of process and system changes.
- Ability to affect changes to warehousing and logistics business processes through recognized leadership skills and expertise
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Working knowledge of SAP’s Sales & Distribution and Logistics Execution modules
- Broad understanding of SAP WM and EWM modules and key functionality
- Excellent knowledge of continuous improvement practices, methodologies, and tools
- Strong interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams

Position Overview
The Logistics Business Analyst is responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, and support of warehousing and logistics business systems for Hubbell. Primary responsibility will be centered on WM, EWM, and TMS.
Under the direction of the IT Director, the Logistics Business Analyst will participate in the planning, managing, and implementing of system implementations and continuous improvement opportunities that related to the various applications and integrations use in our warehousing and distribution process.
The Business Analyst exhibits excellent entrepreneurial skills and provides strong leadership and support in the areas of Continuous Process Improvement, Process & Systems Integrity, and Project Management.
The Logistics Business Analyst also demonstrates the following key competencies:
• Is assertive, proactive and self-directed
• Can manage expectations and present objective solutions based on business requirements
• Ensures that all activities related to Logistics applications are identified and assessed
