      What this job is all about:

      Your focus will be to arrange transportation for all domestic and international orders and communicate order status regularly to key stakeholders. You’ll also be responsible for obtaining necessary order documentation, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining accurate sales order data.

      In this job, you’ll do things like:

      • Arrange all modes of transportation in a timely manner (includes ocean bookings through freight forwarders, drayage trucking, full truck loads, less than container loads and air)
      • Handle shipment exceptions/issues and ensure problems are solved with a sense of urgency
      • Communicate order status to all key stakeholders in an effective and timely way
      • Ensure shipping documentations are issued accurately and in a timely manner (includes certificates of origin, customs invoices, packing lists and certificates of insurance)
      • Maintain accurate sales order data throughout all systems (spreadsheet, database, etc.)
      • Work closely with internal departments to collect data and manage production and booking status
      • Verify and approve invoices for payment in related areas: Warehouse, Storage/Handling, Truck loads, Secondary freight, etc.

      What will give you an edge:

      • Bachelor’s degree
      • 2+ years work experience in a transportation/logistics environment
