  The Logistics Specialist is responsible for the day to day activities in both shipping and receiving. This person will prioritizes work to meet demands of manufacturing and engineering shipments.
  
  Responsibilities:

  -

  • Monitor and record inventory transactions in the inventory management system.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and report issues to management.
  • Follow company policies and safety procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic math skills and ability to count inventory accurately.

  Additional Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of specific customer shipping requirements (i.e.: customer-specific labels, shipping boxes, skids, who pays freight, etc.).
  • Must process invoices daily for all shipments.
  • Must be flexible to load trucks daily when required.
  • Must use the shrink-wrap machine.
  • Ability to recognize part numbers.
  • Must keep work area in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
  • Experience with FEDEX/UPS and other shipment methods a plus.
  • Perform other related duties, as required.

  Requirements:

  • Ability to navigate through Oracle efficiently.
  • Ability to navigate through FEDEX and UPS system efficiently.
  • Ability to calculate numbers (above average mathematical skills).
  • Ability to input data into the computer system (excellent computer skills).
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours a day.
  • Excellent attendance record.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. and to maneuver heavier weight with assistance.
  • Ability to use an electronic device to perform inventory transactions.
  • Ability to efficiently pick, pack, and ship customer orders.
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail a must.

  Hourly Base Pay Range:

  $18.60 - $25.58
