Job Description
- Req#: 4348
- Supervise daily inbound receiving and warehouse operations to ensure accurate and efficient receipt and processing of goods.
- Use SAP to manage inventory and receiving processes, including data entry and inventory adjustments.
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams to prioritize and schedule incoming shipments.
- Complete timecards and manage PTO for receiving employees.
- Manage the receiving team, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee unloading, inspection, and verification of incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain proper documentation for receiving, including creating and maintaining records of damaged or missing items.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for receiving operations.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of receiving supplies and materials.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with receiving regulations and company policies.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance receiving efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for management.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Strong knowledge of receiving regulations, procedures, and documentation.
- Proven experience in managing and leading a team.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in receiving software and inventory management systems, with a preference for SAP.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

What You'll Do
We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Supervisor for Inbound Receiving to lead our apparel manufacturing efforts at our Sparta, TN plant. This role will oversee daily receiving and warehouse operations by ensuring the timely and accurate receipt of inbound goods, managing a team of receiving personnel, and coordinating with other departments to streamline receiving processes. The Logistics Supervisor ensures compliance with all receiving regulations and maintains high standards of safety and efficiency.

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 3 year's experience in receiving or logistics with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. An associate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field is preferred.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range is $55- $65K per year at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and/or training. Please note that the range details reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program.
