      Job Description:

      Airbus Helicopters is looking for an Intern to join our Aviation Safety department based in Grand Prairie, TX.

      You will provide support to the Safety Department in a wide range of activities including but not limited to Safety Promotions/Training, SMS implementation, Emergency Response and Accident Investigation database file management.

      Your challenges:

      • Assist Safety Manager with development of Safety Policy and Procedures.

      • Provide support for the Safety Department, assist with day-to-day activities of Safety Training which includes training development, communicating and tracking of safety training.

      • Assist Safety Manager with the development of Emergency Response plans and checklist for each of the Airbus Helicopters - North America facilities.

      • Develop methodology to provide periodic backup of AI records, to ensure record integrity.

      • Develop an AI file structure for all existing investigations, currently accessed through SharePoint, using Smartsheet (or other solution provided by MIS).

      Your boarding pass:

      • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program, required.

      • Studying degree program related to aerospace/aviation or previous experience with aviation/flight operations, preferred.

      • Must be currently located in the DFW metro for internship - no relocation is offered for this internship.

      • Up to 10% Domestic and International travel can be expected.

      • Authorized to work in the US without current or future need for sponsorship; required.

      • Strong organization skills, thoroughness, and ability to work on multiple projects, required.

      • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet delivery timelines and be flexible, required.

      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, required.

      • Strong verbal and written communication skills, required.

      • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.

      • Proficiency in Google Workspace (G-Suite) apps a plus.

      • Solid Understanding of Smartsheet and SharePoint, or equivalent required.
