      Purpose

      The Game Presentation and Events Manager reports into the Director of Entertainment and dotted line to the Senior Director of Brand and Product Marketing. This person will collaborate on a broad spectrum of marketing and fan engagement initiatives as they relate to Angels Baseball and Entertainment. This will encompass the management, coordination and execution of pre and in-game amenities, theme events, marketing department activations, and management of Strike Force personnel appearances.

      This position is also benefit eligible including: medical, dental and vision insurance, 13 paid holidays, sick days, vacation accrual (2 weeks vacation), tickets to games, 401K eligibility after 1 year of employment (employer matching and safe harbor) and additional perks not listed above. The expected pay range is $55,000-$70,000 a year.

      Primary Responsibilities:

      Entertainment Department:

      • Manage both internal and external personnel to deliver superior ballpark entertainment and events.
      • Assists Director of Entertainment and Production with feature creation and completion.
      • Knowledge in creation of in-game timing sheets, timelines, and PA scripts.
      • Special player ceremony assistant producer for in-game presentation.
      • Scheduling and ABI processing for Strike Force Members, Stage Managers, DJ, and PA Announcer.
      • Oversee anthem singer submissions and selection.
      • Spring Training game presentation producer and scriptwriter.
      • Game Day responsibilities:
        • Anthem singer coordination.
        • Coordinate game responsibilities for Strike Force, RF Cameras, and Stage Managers.
        • Strike Force special event and visit coordination for various internal departments.
        • Primary liaison to coordinate theme night activations between marketing and entertainment.
      • Other duties as assigned.

      Marketing Department:

      • Schedule marketing copy to fulfill for in game inventory.
      • Theme night- work with vendors on pricing, event scheduling, and execution of marketing theme events such as, but not limited to: Star Wars Night, Post Game Concerts, Christmas in June, Throw back weekends, Fan Appreciation Night.
      • Manage the Marketing Calendar for Theme weekends and game day entertainment appearances i.e. singers, play ball, first pitch
      • Coordinate details and day-of logistics with winners of Marketing’s allotment of in-season amenities.
      • Work closely with Digital Communications Manger to outline details for all pre/in-game coverage of Marketing Events and Appearances- Shot list and one sheets.
      • Schedule Strike Force appearances for events both at Angel Stadium and in the community.
      • Assist with the filming of in-game player videos and content gathered during Spring Training.
      • Work directly with Group Sales Coordinator to schedule College Night assets and pre-game ceremonies
      • Closely review all work for factual and grammatical errors.
      • Off season projects and planning.
      • Other duties as assigned.

      Requirements/Qualifications:

      • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications or a related field is preferred.
      • 4+ years of experience in marketing and event coordination preferred.
      • Strong time management skills with a sharp attention to detail.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      • Ability to understand and provide analytics.
      • Must be proficient on PC and Microsoft Office platforms
      • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and non-traditional business hour
      • Ability to work every Angels home game until 7th inning
      • Ability to travel to assist in Tempe Diablo Spring Training game presentation.

      Physical Demands:

      • Ability to work in inclement weather
      • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
