      Description:

      The Los Angeles Angels are seeking excellent candidates to add to the Bat/Ball Staff for the 2025 season. Responsibilities include representing the Los Angeles Angels in a professional and responsible way, performing on-field duties, assisting with clubhouse tasks under the direction of the clubhouse manager, and maintaining a best-in-class locker room. Individuals must possess positive energy, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to work in a fast-paced and confidential work environment. Typical start time will be 45 minutes prior to game start and end time will be 45 minutes after end of game (times will vary).

      This is a seasonal, part-time, non-benefitted position and the rate of pay is $16.50 per hour. Hours of work and days will be scheduled around the Los Angeles Angels schedule. This position is eligible for sick time (after 90 days of employment), 401k employee contribution participation after 3 months of employment and complimentary tickets to games (12 per season).

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Be available to assist with unloading team equipment upon return from road trips (approximately 16 days)
      • Set up and break down on-field pregame activities such as batting practice
      • Work various positions on-field during the game in a safe and respectable manner
      • Properly clean and store all equipment post game
      • Maintain a clean and safe clubhouse at all times
      • Continuously monitor and address condition of all common areas throughout the clubhouse.
      • Provide various services to players, coaches, trainers and manager. These duties include, but are not limited to:
        • Properly clean and maintain player and staff equipment daily, including but not limited to shoes and other on-field equipment
        • Maintain and replenish supplies in the clubhouse daily
        • Load and unload team bus after road trips including unloading of all bags upon arrival
        • Manage loads, unloads, and unpacks incoming equipment shipments and provides same for road trips
      • Respond to additional needs of manager, coaches, trainer, and players as appropriate
      • Complete various tasks on-field during batting practice, games, and workouts in a safe and respectable manner, as assigned by Supervisors, Support Staff, Coaching Staff and Major League Baseball Officials
      • Clean and prepare dugout and bullpen before the start of each game or workout
      • Other duties as assigned

      Requirements:

      • High School level or above of previous playing experience required
      • Understanding of the game of baseball, its rules, and player/staff roles
      • Must be willing and able to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
      • Must be available for all Los Angeles Angels home games and the day before a homestand
      • Must be able to finish tasks in a timely and efficient manner
      • Must be able to operate successfully in a fast-paced professional sports environment
      • Candidates must be able to interact professionally with Front Office Members, Players, Coaches, and Umpires
      • Willingness to learn and operate basic clubhouse equipment
      • Previous Clubhouse experience is a plus
      • Bilingual is a plus

      Physical Demands:

      • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
      • Ability to bend and stoop frequently
      • Ability to throw balls and catch balls at distances of 100 ft or more
      • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
      • Ability to work in inclement weather
      • Ability to work on uneven ground
