      Job Title: Los Angeles CIRCLE Program - Case Manager

      Reports to: Program Manager

      A Culver City based mental health organization is seeking an organized, motivated and professional candidate for a full-time position providing field-based services in its Crisis and Incident Response through Community-led Engagement (CIRCLE) program through the City of Los Angeles. This position is part of a program that receives and responds to crisis response calls pertaining to individuals experiencing homelessness through a centralized dispatch that includes social services components - such as mental health, substance abuse, suicide threat, behavioral distress, conflict resolution, and welfare check.

      RESPONSIBILITIES:
      • Respond to non-violent calls in the field that come in from centralized dispatch including calls
      • related to wellbeing checks, lack of clothing, noise complaints, substance use, requests for
      • assistance, syringe disposal, verbal disputes, and transportation to community-based resources
      • Provide field-based crisis intervention, including de-escalation, resource linkage, risk
      • assessment and community integration
      • Provide a compassionate, trauma-informed, and timely response to diverted incidents
      • Work comfortably and independently in field settings
      • Follow instructions, follow-up and complete assigned tasks
      • Demonstrate effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
      • Collaborate effectively in a team setting and with community partners
      • Perform basic computer skills required for record keeping
      • Respond to crisis calls within designated response time
      • Document all client interactions in accordance with program requirements
      • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to mandatory reporting requirements
      • Other duties may be designated as needed
      PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
      • Ability to sit, stand, walk for extended periods
      • Ability to work in various weather conditions
      • Ability to lift/carry up to 25 pounds
      • Valid driver's license and ability to drive/travel throughout service area
      QUALIFICATIONS:
      • One year of street outreach experience with unhoused or vulnerable populations
      • Experience providing case management to individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health and substance use challenges
      • Bilingual: Spanish preferred
      • Proof of valid California Driver's License required, Clean Driving Record required, and must be insurable on Alcott policy
      • COVID-19 Vaccine and Booster required.
      • Proof of valid California Driver's License required, Clean Driving Record for the past 3 years required and must be insurable on Alcott policy.
      • Live Scan fingerprinting and comprehensive background check required
      • Pre-employment drug screening required
      If driving a company vehicle is an essential function of your position, you are required to possess and maintain a valid CA Driver's License and be insurable by our insurance carrier.

      All employees are required to be fully vaccinated and have (1) Booster upon hire date. If you have a medical or religious exemption proof will be required upon hire date.

      POSITION SHIFT: 9:00am to 9:30pm
      • 12-hour shifts, with no on-call responsibilities when not on shift
      • Three-day work week followed by a four-day work week on rotating basis Monday-Sunday
      • Night shift differential applies
      • Overtime paid for hours worked beyond 12-hour shift
      Schedule:
      • 12 hour shift
      • Day Shift
      • Evening shift
      • Night shift
      • Weekends as needed

      • Company vehicle provided for field work
      • Company issued shared Mobile device and laptop provided
      • Mileage reimbursement when personal vehicle use is required
      Training & Support:
      • Comprehensive paid training provided
      • Regular supervision and team meetings
      • Safety protocols and procedures training
      • Crisis intervention and de-escalation training
      Service Area:
      • Primary Office: Little Tokyo district
      • Corporate Office: Culver City, CA (periodic meetings required)
      • Relocation to Los Angeles area required prior to start date
      PAY: $23.00 - $25.00 Hourly
