- provide technically detailed reports giving a clear assessment of contractors delivered in a timely manner
- create and deliver customized risk mitigation service plans applicable to construction industry
- build credibility across multi-level customers (C-suite, mgmt., labor)
- provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders on client service plan implementation and progress
- develop and maintain positive relationships with our external and internal partners
- proactive communication with field sales, and underwriting pertaining to risk assessments and service delivery
- analyze loss trends to initiate client loss mitigation efforts
- effectively lead claims and stewardship meetings with client/agency stakeholders
- professionally network and foster client growth and retention
- strategic problem solving to mitigate client risks
- balance workload to meet business priorities.
- successfully market Cincinnati Insurance and Loss Control capabilities to agents and their customer base
- collaboration across team and interdepartmentally for all lines of business
- ability to work remotely with flexibility to travel (approximately 35%)
- knowledge in hazard recognition and control for construction related workers’ compensation, property, fleet, general liability, and products liability
- ability to develop and conduct training programs for contractors with multiple locations

- undergraduate degree in safety, engineering or applicable science or construction experience and training
- a minimum of 5-6 years Construction experience in either project management or construction safety and health

We are seeking a Construction Service Consultant with service responsibilities for a territory of multiple states. You will provide technical consultation and evaluation to underwriting to assist in the selection of new and renewal construction commercial multi-line (including Workers Compensation, Property, GL, & Auto) insurance. You will assist underwriting and management in making decisions by evaluating risks, analyzing data, identifying injury/accident trends, and preparing reports. You will utilize your prior construction and casualty experience to provide risk management and construction loss control consultation services to our insureds to minimize actual and potential risk. You will also provide ongoing technical support to assist our insured’s compliance with regulations, and program development to mitigate loss producing exposures.
This position is responsible for the loss control service management and related activities for a segment of large, complex and/or key commercial accounts. This is a home-based, remote position, but will require periodic travel for business and client meetings and to our Fairfield, Ohio headquarters.
The pay range for this position is $84,000- $145,000.00 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.
