What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Initiate follow-up activities with subservicer on delinquent accounts
- Provide financial counseling and assistance to members in need
- Ensure compliance with GSE guidelines for delinquency/default prevention
- Negotiate repayment arrangements with delinquent members
- Prepare and submit foreclosure referrals to foreclosure counsel
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate degree in a financial institution or High school diploma with 5+ years of experience
- At least 1 year of foreclosure experience or 2 years of banking/mortgage experience
- Knowledge and experience working with a subservicer
- Strong negotiation and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Vendor performance management experience
- Familiarity with current market-based fees for property maintenance and repair services
