High School diploma or GED required.
Associate’s Degree in Business or related field preferred.
1 year of experience in banking operations (e.g., processing, Teller, etc.) or equivalent required.
2+ years of banking experience preferred.
Knowledge of branch operations highly desired.
Knowledge of second day operations, such as Exceptions, Bank to Bank Adjustments, Return Items, Checks, and Deposit Maintenance Processing.

First Hawaiian Bank is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist to join our EOS - Loss Prevention & Recovery team. In this role, you'll be responsible for investigating and assisting in the prevention and minimization of losses associated with various types of check fraud activity and suspicious transactions. This position works closely with branches and other departments to minimize the risk of loss associated with various types of check fraud.
Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM (Work hours may vary)
Compensation:
The hourly salary range for this role is $19.00- $24.00/hr; commensurate with experience.
The successful candidate will be hired for the level of the position that aligns with their experience.
