      Job Summary

      As a member of our hospitality team, the primary responsibility of a Server is to deliver exceptional customer service in the hotel's Restaurant outlets. This role is essential for creating a positive and enjoyable dining experience for our guests by creating a positive first impression with a warm smile and addressing guests by name whenever possible. This role is responsible for providing accurate and helpful information to guests, assisting in making informed decisions about food and beverage selections, paying close attention to guests' needs, anticipating any additional requests, and following table etiquette guidelines to ensure guest satisfaction.

      Detailed Job Summary

      · Maintain a friendly and attentive manner, providing excellent customer service to guests.

      · Attend daily menu classes to stay well-informed about menu items, ingredients, and any updates or changes.

      · Thoroughly inspect the assigned section to ensure the station is properly set up and organized for the evening.

      · Regularly monitor tables to maintain cleanliness and ensure proper table settings are in place.

      · Present menus to guests, provide knowledgeable answers to their inquiries and offer expert suggestions regarding food and service choices.

      · Promptly write down guests' orders on the check, confirm the selections with the guests, and accurately input the orders into the system.

      · Ensure timely and efficient service of courses from the kitchen and bars to enhance the overall dining experience.

      · Discreetly clear any soiled items from the table during the meal to uphold a clean and inviting dining area.

      · Attentively observe diners to promptly address additional requests and determine when the meal is complete.

      · Accurately calculate the total bill and skillfully accept payment from guests.

      · Be prepared to provide additional services as required by the establishment, such as assisting with special requests or accommodating dietary restrictions.

      · Expertly clear and reset tables after each course, ensuring a seamless transition for the next set of guests.

      · Remain mindful of busing trays; when they are full and the Dining Room Attendants (DRAs) are occupied, take the tray to the kitchen proactively.

      · Meticulously completed all assigned side work duties, including restocking supplies, polishing silverware, and organizing menus.

      · Follow proper cash handling procedures with precision to ensure accurate transactions and accountability.

      · Comply with company guidelines and federal regulations while reporting gratuities received.

      · Adhere to all requirements, training, and restrictions set forth by the ABC board, guaranteeing strict compliance with alcohol service regulations.
