      Job Summary

      Summary

      The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for assisting in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while under the direction of a Registered Nurse or physician. This includes maintaining accountability for all delegated patient care given during a shift; working effectively with patients, families, and other members of the healthcare team; and practicing within the guidelines of established nursing care standards and CRMG policies and procedures.

      Education and Experience

      Minimum Required Education: Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing School Preferred Education: Not applicable

      Experience:

      For medical practices: 1-year recent related experience preferred

      Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

      Applicants must be licensed to work as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia or in North Carolina and must obtain BLS certifications on hire.
