Job Description

The Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) is a 13-bed rehabilitation unit within Hannibal Regional Hospital.
The patient population is comprised of adults who are ready for discharge from the acute care setting but are still in need of continued intensive rehabilitation and therapy services, as well as continued medical needs. Stroke, spinal cord injury, amputation, major multiple trauma, hip fracture, brain injury, neurological disorders, and specific joint replacement categories diagnoses comprise the most common reasons for admission. This care is provided through an interdisciplinary approach in partnership with Life Point Health.

Specifications for Position:
- Graduate of an approved school of practical nursing
- Current licensure as a licensed practical nurse (IV Certified) in Missouri (Graduate nurse must obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation date)
- BLS CPR certification
- Successful implementation of nursing knowledge/process
- Demonstrates skill in area of specialtyThis position requires physical abilities testing.
