We are seeking a qualified Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse for our Martinsburg office location. This office is located in Martinsburg, WV and provides service to the counties of Berkeley and Jefferson.
Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
- Dialyze patients with kidney disease
- Lift and transfer patients who require assistance with mobility
- Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures
- Provide care for patients with special needs, including behavioral health and neonatal ventilator support
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate medical records and follow documentation standards
- Monitor medical equipment, including DME (durable medical equipment)Requirements:
- Current LPN license in good standing with the state board of nursing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Knowledge of nursing standards of practice and regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessaryBenefits:
