      Overview of Responsibilities

      • Appropriately recognizes and reports abnormal assessment data.
      • Collaborates with RN to create appropriate plan of care.
      • Effectively carries out plan of care.
      • Recognizes success of or modifies plan of care
      • At the direction of the RN, initiates nursing protocols and standing orders as condition dictates.
      • Appropriately communicates patient condition to the RN
      • In collaboration with and at the direction of the RN, provides care based on identified needs.
      • Demonstrates that she/he can work independently within scope of practice.
      • In collaboration with and at the direction of the RN, works well with the multidisciplinary team.
      • Uses appropriate resources – Primary RN, Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, Directors, Administrative Coordinator, Pharmacy, etc.
      • Demonstrates good time management by having no unjustified overtime.
      • Informs supervisor when hours worked may accrue overtime and incidental overtime.
      • Compliant with attendance policy.
      • Offers assistance to team to maintain unit productivity – asks “What may I do to help you leave on time?”
      • Collaborates with team and management to develop cost-effective solutions and improve workflow processes.
      • Uses team huddles and check-backs to proactively report changes.

      Education/Experience

      Licensure Required: Licensure in the State of Indiana as a Licensed Practical Nurse is required

      Schedule Details

      Night Shift. 36 hours weekly. 7:00p-7:00a
