      Intel's Logic Technology Development (LTD) Sort Test Class and Burn-In Test Area supports electrical test of development products. The E-Test Process Engineer job includes developing and maintaining advanced parametric test systems running in a high volume fully automated manufacturing environment. It also includes interfacing with and supporting the LTD customers of this test data.

      LTD Module Engineers are responsible for leading scientific research enabling manufacture of innovative device architectures coupled with the realization of these architectures. Designing executing and analyzing experiments necessary to meet engineering specifications for their process. Participate in development of intellectual property.

      This is an entry level position and compensation will be given accordingly.

      In this job responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

      • Development of the equipment necessary to exploit the understanding gained in research in collaboration with equipment suppliers.
      • Work effectively with the equipment supplier to identify shortcomings propose and evaluate hardware modification to mitigate issues.
      • Operate manufacturing line in order to integrate the many individual steps necessary for the manufacture of complex microprocessors.
      • Support ramp to manufacturing volumes to demonstrate the technology meets requirements while simultaneously transferring the technology to counterparts in manufacturing via the Copy Exactly Methodology.
      • Install and qualify manufacturing capacity at the development site and audit installation qualification and supervise first full loop at the production site.

      Qualifications:

      You must possess the minimum qualifications below to be initially be considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work, classes, research and or relevant previous job and or internship experiences.

      Minimum Qualifications

      - Masters or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Robotics or relevant fields. Must have the required degree or expect the required degree by Sept. 2023.

      - 6+ months of experience in one or more of the following:

      • Instrument design test system development or design validation.
      • Laboratory/clean room experience with mechanical testing equipment and characterization techniques.
      • Analyzing data and knowledge of statistical analysis.

      Preferred Qualifications

      Minimum of 6 months of experience in one or more of following:

      • In device or circuit design layout and testing
      • Device characterization and instrumentation
      • Practical programming in instrument control. Experience with Labview/Matlab or equivalent programming.
      • Physics based modeling and optimization problem solving.
      • Experience with working with equipment suppliers.

      This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
