  Develop and implement targeted intervention plans tailored to the specific needs and skill levels of each student.
  Provide small group or one-on-one instruction using evidence-based reading strategies and interventions.
  Promotes a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction, and student learning.
  Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teachers, and other stakeholders to align intervention strategies with classroom instruction and support students' overall academic success.

  Participates in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends, teaching methodologies, and curriculum advancements. This includes attending workshops, seminars, and professional meetings such as faculty and department/grade level meetings.

  Bachelor’s degree and NYS Certification in B-6 Literacy or K-12 Literacy/Reading.

  Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Reading Intervention Specialist to join our team. As an AIS Teacher specializing in reading, you will work with students who require additional support to improve their reading skills and academic performance. Your role will involve conducting assessments, designing targeted interventions, and providing individualized instruction to help students achieve literacy proficiency.
  Responsibilities:
  
  Individualized Instruction:
