      Due to our incredible growth, we are looking to add a full-time, experienced M&A focused Financial Analyst. The M&A focused Financial Analyst will support the origination, structuring, negotiation, and execution of acquisitions and investments for RealDefense. In this role, the M&A Analyst will work with the Finance team to support potential acquisitions and investment opportunities.

      The Analyst will play a key role in executing RealDefense's growth strategy by (i) preparing and maintaining financial models, various financial analyses and reports to assist leadership in making data-driven informed decisions, (ii) assisting in the execution of various strategic alternatives including potential organic growth projects, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, etc., (iii) working closely with the operations team to educate and communicate financial data and reports, and (iv) providing accounting support to aid in month-end close and reconciliation.

      Primary Responsibilities

      • Develop detailed financial models to evaluate and analyze potential acquisition targets.
      • Monitor and evaluate discussions with potential targets across various stages of the acquisition process.
      • Execute intricate financial modeling and valuation analyses, utilizing methodologies such as Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) and Leveraged Buyout (LBO) to assess opportunities and risks.
      • Coordinate cross-functional due diligence efforts internally and externally, ensuring thorough assessments are conducted to support informed decision-making.
      • Contribute to the development of comprehensive investment memorandums and board presentations, providing critical insights to secure strategic investments.
      • Maintain and develop detailed financial projection models and analysis for other large projects and initiatives.
      • Produce weekly and monthly operational KPI reports for the executive team
      • Access and compile raw data to identify and document trends and provide explanation and understanding of performance
      • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes
      • Develop internal materials for senior leadership and the board that evaluate historical and projected business trends, capital market trends, the financial impact and rationale for potential strategic alternatives, and other information as requested

      Qualifications

      • 5+ years of M&A/financial planning and analysis experience preferred.
      • Bachelor's (required), MBA (preferred)
      • A solid understanding of finance and generally accepted accounting procedures is required.
      • Experience in M&A with investment banking, private equity, corporate development, corporate finance, or management consulting experience.
      • Proficiency in building intricate valuation models encompassing public comps, DCF, and LBO analyses.
      • Strong foundational understanding of valuation principles, corporate finance, and accounting concepts.
      • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
      • SaaS or e-commerce experience preferred
      • Strong attention to detail required.
      • Must be legal to work in the United States
