You will join a team that is passionate about enabling Accenture’s sustainable, profitable inorganic growth agenda and operates end-to-end across the acquisition deal cycle from origination through execution to integration.       The Ventures & Acquisitions team is part of our Global Corporate Development team and works with our senior business leaders to identify, acquire and integrate companies. Strategic acquisitions help Accenture enter and scale in priority growth offerings, which mean the target companies are often in the most exciting and pioneering capabilities.

      You will be collaborating with business strategy teams, analyzing target companies for suitability, researching priority market sectors, building business cases to support outreach and manage pipeline. The ideal candidate should have an inquiring mind and be curious to learn about Accenture’s new and pioneering offerings which help our clients drive innovation and value.

      Job Description

      As an Intern, you will be a member of a Corp Dev team focused on performing M&A market research assessments for a broad spectrum of industries.

      You will be part of a growing global and multicultural team. Long-term, you may have the opportunity to gain experience in adjacent disciplines across the M&A lifecycle, such as deal execution, financial due diligence, and post-merger integration.

      Market due diligence includes:

      • Primary and secondary research and analysis of early-stage acquisition companies across different business strategic sectors, e.g., digital, technology, consulting.
      • Gather information, perform basic analysis on information gathered to provide meaningful insights, and organize findings.
      • Accurately input data pertaining to the tasks and projects completed by the team.
      • Review and cross-check data for errors or discrepancies to maintain data integrity.
      • Collaborate with team members to gather information and ensure completeness of records.
      • Leverage data analytics and data visualization techniques to enhance reporting workflow.

      Requirements

      · Must have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Economics or similar field.

      · Must have 6-12 months of Research & Due diligence experience in global projects.

      · MBA Freshers can also be considered.

      · Strong understanding & implementation of data management & data input pertaining to the tasks and projects completed by the team.

      · Review and cross-check data for errors or discrepancies to maintain data integrity.

      · Collaborate with team members to gather information and ensure completeness of records.

      · Strong verbal and written communication skills

      · Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint/Excel/Word)

      Preferred skills

      · Knowledge of business intelligence tools, database management or programming languages to handle and visualize data e.g. Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python

      · Working knowledge of research databases, e.g. CB Insights, Pitchbook, Bloomberg, CapitalIQ, Mergermarkets, Factiva, etc.

      · Knowledge of other international languages is a plus.
