- Oversee construction to ensure alignment with approved plans, specifications, and building codes
- Contribute to M&E Scope of Work and Tender Packages by reviewing specifications, drawings, budgets, and subcontractor contracts
- Develop and manage mechanical and electrical schedules, including submissions, deliveries, installations, and inspections, track progress and address delays
- Support Project Managers and Superintendents with schedule updates, RFIs, shop drawing reviews, and project completion requirements
- Plan and implement manpower levels, material needs, and equipment availability
- Coordinate mechanical and electrical work, ensuring alignment with project requirements
- Resolve conflicts in structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings and specifications
- Perform preventative maintenance checks on HVAC, boilers, chillers, and other systems
- Oversee functional performance testing of building systems
- Lead project meetings with internal and external stakeholders to monitor progress
- Mentor and guide project team members to support their development and career growth
- Maintain project quality through compliance with the Project Quality Program
- 6+ years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role managing large ICI construction projects, with a focus on mechanical and electrical components
- Experience in full-cycle construction; healthcare and design-build project experience are preferred
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, boilers, chillers, and electrical systems
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors, ensure quality, and maintain safety compliance
- Familiarity with OH&S and environmental standards
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Site based position in Burnaby, BC

Compensation
$98,400 - $135,300 Annually
This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
