- Solve and resolving complex issues related to Microsoft 365 services, Power Platform solutions including Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Integrating and customizing Microsoft 365 services and features with other applications and systems, such as SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Azure, etc.
- Creating and maintaining documentation and standard processes for Microsoft 365 services and features.
- Creating and managing Microsoft 365 tenants, domains, and subscriptions, Power Platform solutions.
- Monitoring and optimizing the performance, availability, and health of Microsoft 365 services
- Implementing and managing hybrid scenarios that integrate Microsoft 365 with on-premises systems.
- Developing and deploying custom applications, workflows, and chatbots using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents.
- Providing guidance and support to other Power Platform developers and users.
- A solid background in IT engineering and administration, preferably with Microsoft technologies
- A deep understanding of Microsoft 365 services and features, such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and features, such as Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, Azure Monitor, etc.
- A familiarity with PowerShell and other scripting languages for automation and customization
- Solid experience in support management roles is preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Power Platform Skills: Expertise in advanced features of Power Apps, Power Automate, including AI Builder, custom connectors, and complex data operations.
- Comprehensive Development Experience: Proficient in developing both canvas and model-driven apps with advanced functionalities, including offline capabilities, custom UI/UX design, and complex data integrations.
- Expertise in Data Modeling and Management: Deep understanding of Microsoft Dataverse, including complex entity relationships, data types, and security models.
- Advanced Power Automate Capabilities: Skilled in creating automated workflows with multiple triggers and actions, and implementing custom connectors and APIs.
- Collaboration and Communication Skills: Strong collaboration skills to lead and work within multi-functional teams.
- Programming and Customization Skills: Solid skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS for custom development, and familiarity with additional programming languages.
- Experience with Sharegate a plus

Strong M365 Engineer
A Microsoft 365 Engineer is a role that requires advanced skills and experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft 365 services including Power Platform.
Qualifications
The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 - $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
