What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide Tier III/IV support for the VA EMCS environment, ensuring high-quality service
- Answer priority calls from the VA Enterprise Service Desk, triaging and resolving issues
- Resolve National EMCS Tier III/IV tickets and maintain network performance
- Monitor and report on the complete EMCS infrastructure, including server management
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues for Executive-level users, ensuring timely solutions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electronics Engineering, or related technical discipline preferred; 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
- 2-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role
- Experience providing remote IT support to multiple work sites
- Proficiency in Windows Admin Tools, Microsoft Exchange Online, and Office 365 environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- M365/Azure certifications preferred
- ITIL Foundation certification a plus
