      MAC Technician

      Job Description Summary

      Under the direction of the MAC Tech Lead and Facilities Manager, The MAC Technician will perform a variety of work in the installation, breakdown, and/or relocation of office partitions and furniture. Position requires current Texas driver’s license.

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities

      .

      • Pay: $18.50.
      • Schedule: Monday-Thursday (6:00am-4:00pm) Friday (6:00am-10:00am).
      • Assembles and installs modular office furniture and wall partitions.
      • Install or relocate office furniture.
      • Performs set-ups and breakdowns of tables and chairs for special events.
      • Hang bulletin boards, writing boards, and pictures.
      • Process all work order requests in a timely manner.
      • Lift and carry 50lbs without assistance and carry to 10 feet.
      • Read drawings and work from plans and specifications.
      • Proficient use of a variety of tools and machines used in the basic trades.
      • Understand and follow oral and written directions.
      • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
      • Meet schedules and timelines.
      • Ability to effectively communicate and respond to customer needs.
      • Move materials around the facility using a company provided vehicle.
      • Must be able to take direction, to work with minimal supervision, and to function cooperatively as part of a team.
      • Requires attention to details, a pride in delivering excellent customer services, good organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.
      • May assist with other Facilities related functions.
      • Assist with installation of IT equipment.
      • Perform other related duties as assigned.

      Qualifications:

      • Three to five years, experience as a furniture installer in a commercial setting.
      • Familiar with furniture building and installation.
      • Experience with cubicle configuration, build and demo.
      • Ability to effectively communicate and respond to customer needs.
      • Must be able to take direction, to work with minimal supervision, and to function cooperatively as part of a team.
      • Requires attention to details, a pride in delivering excellent customer services, good organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.

      Education and/or Experience

      • High school diploma or GED.
      • Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience.
