  Job Description Summary:

  PayPal, Inc. seeks Machine Learning Engineer 2 in San Jose, CA
  
  Job Duties: Design, develop and implement predictive models using advanced data mining and machine learning techniques, mostly in the area of recommendation/personalization. Collaborate with other machine learning scientists and engineers to formulate innovative solutions to experiment and implement advanced ML/AI techniques. Build data analytics and statistical models focusing on pricing optimization initiatives and their impact on merchant behavior. Implement large-scale data mining and machine learning algorithms and data model pipelines in a software production environment. Perform exploratory data analysis to understand the correlation between target performance and platform features. Work closely with team members to develop efficient algorithms for platform performance models and improve the algorithms by using state-of-the-art data analytics research work. Build machine learning models and perform data mining. Analyze data covering a wide range of information from user profile to transaction history and identify patterns through data mining.

  Job Description:

  Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or a closely related field.

  Additional Job Description:

  Base Salary: $135,283-176,000 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
