- Operate and trouble shoot strapping heads, run single head, change out strapping heads.
- Must be able to run Dehacker Operators Panels- understand the functions and operate as needed.
- (product and size changeover modes, Operating unloading machine (manually throwing away hacks, operating grippers separately, switch unloading tracks, push last car away), Operate teach pendants (robotic unloading) and handle normal problems
- Must be able to perform all required record keeping tasks required.
- Must display a good working knowledge of all control and monitoring devices such as; photo cells, proximity switches, pneumatic controls and hydraulic controls
- Be capable of executing fault finding (trouble shooting) guides
- NO lifting restrictions.
Columbus Brick, a division of General Shale Brick, is seeking a Machine Operator (Dehacker) for our manufacturing facility in Columbus, MS. This position is hands-on in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Dehacker is a highly automated piece of machinery made up of several different components. It includes large automatic equipment composed of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical components. The operator must be able to stay focused and alert to his/ her surroundings to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the machine.
