      Machine Operator

      We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our Group and support our production members in driving World Class Excellence within our machine shop. Within Endress+Hauser Temperature+System Products, we utilize state-of-the-art production techniques and manufacturing technologies to ensure the quality of the instrumentation produced, as well as the safety of employees and the environment.

      What is the role about?

      Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Can you ensure quality and efficiency in every step of the machining process? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our Machine Operator role! We’re looking for a dynamic individual who can operate various CNC lathes to produce high quality products, implement and execute operator preventative maintenance tasks, complete production plan as provided by the Supply Chain team to ensure on-time delivery and other functions of the position.

      Which tasks will you perform?

      You will:

      • Operate twin spindle, twin turret CNC Nakamura and/or similar CNC lathes to produce high quality products
      • Machine tooling setup and change over per production demand
      • Perform in process quality inspections
      • Communicate and collaborate with appropriate personnel when issues arise regarding raw material, products, or machines
      • Perform visual inspection and functional testing of raw material and manufactured components
      • Maintain accurate inventory and adjust or scrap, as necessary
      • Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform regular preventative maintenance required to accomplish daily tasks
      • Comply with all quality and safety standards required by state and federal agencies, ISO9001 and company policies

      All other duties as assigned

      What do we expect from you?

      You:

      • Mechanical technology degree and 2-4 years related experience, education may be substituted with experience and/or relevant training
      • Experience using Nakamura CNC equipment with Fanuc controller, or similar
      • Read basic blueprints and detailed written instructions
      • Use of precision measuring instruments such as calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gauges, thread gauges, indicators and scales
      • Experience with cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures and inserts used in CNC turning and machining
      • Basic computer skills
      • Non-CNC machining experience with lathe and/or mill is a plus
      • Manufacturing of process measurement instrumentation desirable
