Job Description
- Req#: 22378
- Maintain the highest quality standards for all processed work
- Meet established department benchmarks within a month
- Basic maintenance is done on the machine when required
- Monitor the Software system and handle errors as per SOP’s
- Assist in other production-related duties assigned
- Troubleshooting, minor adjustments and setups machine
- Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of the work area
- Maintain and adhere to all ISO related processes
- Comply with G+D Environmental, Health & Safety policies, procedures and report any Environment, Health & Safety hazards, incidents and concerns to the immediate Supervisor
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum 1-2 years Machine Operator experience
- Strong verbal, written communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of computers
- Must be detail-oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to multi-task
- Completion of High School or some post-education is preferred
- Standing for long periods of time
- Repetitive routine work
- Noisy environment
- Fast-paced secure environment
- Safety shoes and smock required on the production floor
- Lifting up to 40lbs
- Pushing up to 20lbs
- Standing for extended periods
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for communicating daily with the lead hand as well as following up with other operators to ensure the daily jobs are ready to process.
Shift:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:15 pm
Monday - Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:15 pm
Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 pm - 7:15 am
