      Location: Ocala, FL (34474)

      Shift: 2nd; 2:00pm - 10:00pm/12am with OT Monday - Friday

      Pay: $19/hr

      Job Type: Contract-to-hire

      Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join our production/fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in the metal fabrication process, ensuring products meet quality standards and production goals.


      Key Responsibilities:

      • Operate various metalworking machines such as punch press, brake press, bandsaw, drill press, etc..
      • Set up machines according to specifications and perform routine maintenance.
      • Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
      • Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet specifications.
      • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
      • Record production data and report any issues to the supervisor.
      • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

      Qualifications:

      • Ability to read a tape measure
      • Previous Metal Machine Operating experience
      • Previous experience in a manufacturing or metalworking environment preferred.
      • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
      • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
      • Basic math and measurement skills.
      • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
      • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

      Work Environment:

      • Non climate controlled facility
      • Enclosed with large bay doors open during the warmer months

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
