  Machine Operator – Coating
  Pay: $24.20/hr ($22.00/hr + 10% 2nd shift differential)
  Hours: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday–Friday
  Training: 1st or 2nd shift
  Location: Worcester, MA 01605
  Duration: 6+ months plus
  Job Summary
  Operate coating machines to apply silicone, non-silicone, or adhesive layers to film used in customer products or prepared for shipping.
  Key Responsibilities
  • Set up machines by adjusting temperature, airflow, speed, and tension to match job specs.

  • Load raw materials using hydraulic lift or hand crank.

  • Add coating mixes manually or via pump per order requirements.

  • Perform visual inspections and quality checks during production.

  • Input material data into QAD system for inventory tracking.

  • Make necessary machine adjustments during operation to ensure quality output.

  • Use basic tools (e.g., hammer, screwdriver) for minor maintenance.

  • Follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
  Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • 12–18 months of machine operating experience preferred.

  • Able to lift 70 lbs solo; up to 200 lbs with assistance.

  • Able to read job orders and perform basic math conversions.

  • Comfortable working near moving parts, heat, and dust.

  • Must follow safety procedures in a moderate-to-loud factory setting.
