Job Description
- Req#: JP-004709619
- Work in a dynamic machine shop, handling various runs instead of repetitive one-part processes.
- Perform complete setups of runs based on provided drawings.
- Conduct test runs, determine tolerances, materials, speed, and complete the run.
- Use calipers and basic measuring tools during runs for quality checks.
- Perform basic machine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
- Document all products meticulously, ensuring military-grade accuracy and thoroughness.
- Minimum 1 year of work experience as a manual machinist using CNC mills, lathes, saws, grinders, calipers.
- Ability to set up machines to very tight tolerances and accuracy.
- Proficiency in working with drawings, sketches, blueprints, and applying mathematics/measurements accurately.
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day shift, 44 hours a week.
- Location: The machine shop is attached to the production area on the first floor, which can be loud.
- Safety: Protective hearing aids are available. Always work alongside someone for safety; cannot be alone in the shop.
- PPE: Steel-toed boots are required, and all other PPE (glasses, gloves, hearing protection) is provided on-site.
