Responsibilities

• Assisting Journeyman on site
• Movement of material and equipment
• Grinding/clean up of finished components
• Stamping critical information on finished components
• Operation of industrial metal bandsaw
• Familiarity with measuring tools and equipment (imperial measurement familiarity preferred)
• Covering job duties within the department (vacations and leaves)
• Basic clean-up and material coordination
• Various other duties as required
• Overtime as required

Knowledge & Skills

Must be willing to work in a safety-conscious environment

Must be motivated and have good communication skills

Candidate must have a positive attitude with the ability to work well with others and on their own

Education

High school diploma

Experience

Oilfield services experience is an asset

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment

Accuracy and attention to detail with numbers are a must

Forklift experience is a definite asset

Training available to the right candidate

Interest/experience in the given trade
