      Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp., U.S.A seeks a Machine Shop Intern for our Consumer Products manufacturing facility in Lincoln, NE. This position will be paid through our contract agency, Advance Services Inc. Hours can be part-time during the school year (10 hours/week minimum) and full-time during the summer.       Responsibilities of the Machine Shop Tool and Die Intern can include:

      • Operation of mills, lathes, drill press, and CNC equipment
      • Building jigs and fixtures from blue prints and sketches
      • Trouble shoot problems and assist production

      Qualifications for the Machine Shop Tool and Die Intern:

      • Some college experience preferred (Preferably students currently pursuing a degree in Tool & Die Machining or related field)
      • Must have High School diploma or successfully obtained a GED
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
      • Print reading skills desired but not required
      • Ability to lift 44 lbs.
