Process and sort incoming and outgoing mail and packages

Organize items for internal distribution across Emory University

Operate high-volume copiers, scanners, and document imaging software
-
Perform binding, finishing, and basic maintenance of copy equipment
-
Clear paper jams, restock supplies, and ensure quality control
-
Use MS Office and email systems
-
Maintain service logs, meter readings, and basic billing logs
-
Answer customer questions regarding job status
-
Perform filing, purging, and archiving tasks
-
Deliver completed jobs within and between buildings
-
Operate bindery and mailroom tools such as paper cutter, shrink-wrap, hole drill, jogger, scales, electric stapler, and tape machine
-
Maintain a neat and well-stocked copier/mail area
-
Perform other related duties as assigned

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
-
Mail handling or copy service experience preferred
-
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push up to 400 lbs on wheels
-
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stretch for extended periods
-
No driving required
-
COVID-19 vaccination not required

Must provide own parking or use public transportation (recommended due to cost)

Dress code: jeans (non-distressed), tennis shoes/work boots/casual shoes, black or navy polo shirt preferred; no loungewear, Uggs, or visible logos
