      Job Description:

      Key responsibilities of a mainframe developer in Delaware might include:
      • Developing and maintaining applications for mainframe systems.
      • Writing code, testing it, and working with other developers to ensure proper functioning.
      • Utilizing technologies like COBOL, IMS, and DB2.
      • Design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system.
      • Possible work with CICS web services and Rest API.
      • Knowledge in Mainframe utilities such as File-Aid, Expeditor, SORT, REXX, and SAS.
      • Exposure to cloud technologies is a plus.
      To be successful in these roles, candidates may need:
      • Experience with mainframe systems and related technologies.
      • Skills in programming languages like COBOL, and potentially other languages like Python, Java, or Unix Shell Scripting.
      • Knowledge of mainframe utilities and systems.
      • Experience with databases like DB2 and IMS.
      • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
