      Role Responsibilities

      • Ensure the Mainframe Security Environment and Systems are stable and secure
      • Engineering support for Mainframe Security products (RACF, ZSecure suite, Imperva DAM)
      • Reviews and defines Mainframe Security Standards and Controls
      • Provides technical evaluations and analysis of Mainframe Security tools.
      • Conducts Mainframe Security assessments
      • Supports activities, processes, and tools needed to improve overall security posture of the Bank.
      • Performs actions to address or mitigate risks and vulnerabilities
      • Advises on more complex security procedures and products for clients, security administrators and network operations.
      • Participates in enforcement of control security risks and threats
      • Leverage new technology features within new releases of security software products currently installed and integrate into our environment where advantageous.
      • Develop technical solutions to business problems based upon security best practices
      • Develop automation, tooling, reports, utilities, and batch programs
      • Attend weekly mainframe turnover planning meetings
      • Coordinate with Security Management team to review security proposals and assess technical feasibility

      Strategy

      • Responsible for supporting the 3 to 5 years Mainframe Services Risk and Control requirement in Core Infrastructure Services.
      • Working in partnership with rest of Mainframe Stakeholders to deliver the Country regulatory requirement and SCB Risk and Control standards.
      • Work with Information Security teams to ensure infrastructure solutions delivered into production meet bank’s security standards and are fit for purpose for future cyber-resilience.
      • Influence relevant stakeholders to obtain a consensus where required.
      • Establish and maintain strong strategic partnerships with vendors and service suppliers for the Mainframe security requirement support.

      Business

      • Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the group operates and the impact upon Mainframe Services
      • Ensure strong collaboration with Group Information Security teams to ensure Mainframe Services solutions delivered into production meet bank security standards.
      • Where appropriate, partner with the broader Mainframe Stakeholders to develop RFIs, oversee product evaluations, co-ordinate product selections, to ensure solution meet bank IT standards for the Mainframe services.
      • Maintenance and support the reports that related to Risk and Control requirement.

      Processes

      • Be responsible for maintaining front line processes related to Mainframe Services Risk and Control requirement.
      • Continue to evolve and embed best practices in key areas.
      • Consistently measure and assess processes to ensure optimal function.
      • Ensure that Mainframe Services comply with the Technology Operations processes within the Operational Risk Framework. These include but are not limited to, Incident Management, IT Service Continuity Management and Operations Monitoring.
      • Define and refine relevant Mainframe Services specific policies and procedures.
      • Deliver best in class practices and services from the Mainframe Services.

      People & Talent

      • Provide technical leadership across the team, with a deep understanding of concepts, principles, and practices on Mainframe Risk and Control requirement.
      • Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values among Mainframe services.

      Risk Management

      • Responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks to the Mainframe Services environment.
      • Ensure a full understanding of the risk and control environment within Mainframe Services tat related to the internal and external audit requirement.
      • Ensure robust support procedures are in place and adhere to Group Security Audit policies and locally within countries.

      Governance

      • Ensure alignment and execution of all Governance activities for the Mainframe Services.
      • Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the Group’s arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the Mainframe Services.
      • Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
      • Willingness to work with any local regulators in an open and cooperative manner for any Mainframe Services related issues.

      • Lead the IT-TPS-ET (90000145) Mainframe Services to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles. Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.
      • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

      Our Ideal Candidate

      • Minimum 15 years of experience in mainframe technical specialist with Security product knowledge
      • Knowledge of Mainframe Security Environment and Systems
      • Must of knowledge of Mainframe Security products eg (RACF, ZSecure suite, Imperva DAM)
      • Knowledge of regular reviews and defines Mainframe Security Standards and Controls in the secure environment
      • Provides technical evaluations and analysis of Mainframe Security tools.
      • Conducts Mainframe Security assessments to meet regulatory and governance
      • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivale
