Unsere Investments – Settlement & Advisory Teams in der Private Bank (TDI) entwickeln und unterstützen Anwendungen rund um das Settlement und das regulatorische Reporting des Wertpapiergeschäfts unserer Kunden. Regulatorische Änderungen am Reporting wie auch die Änderung von Marktstandards werden in der Regel mit kurzen Vorlaufzeiten bekannt gegeben. Qualität und Stabilität der Anwendungen hat daher eine ebenso hohe Priorität wie die rechtzeitige Lieferung der Funktionalität.

Unser agiles DevOps Modell erlaubt es uns flexibel und effizient neue Funktionen für unsere Kunden einzuführen und gleichzeitig eine hohe Qualität zu gewährleisten. Aus den Standorten in Deutschland und Indien agierend, nutzen wir agile und virtuelle Methoden wie auch die Diversität unseres Teams, um unsere Ziele der Funktionslieferung, Prozessverbesserung und Internalisierung des Engineerings stetig voranzutreiben.

Als Senior Engineer innerhalb der Funktionalen Analyse arbeiten Sie eng mit Geschäfts- und Betriebseinheiten, Product Owner und Entwicklungsteams zusammen. Durch Ihre Engineering-Kenntnisse unterstützen Sie die Modernisierung unserer Anwendungslandschaft und ergänzen das Team durch Ihre Business Analyse und Kommunikationsfähigkeiten. Sie werden in erheblichem Umfang mit agilen Tools (JIRA/Confluence) und Praktiken im Kontext der Digitalisierung der Deutsche Bank arbeiten.

Ihre Aufgaben

· Als Teil des Entwicklungsteams verantworten Sie die funktionale Analyse von verschiedenen Business Anforderungen, insbesondere mittels Epics und User Stories

· Sie gewährleisten, dass Zielprozesse ganzheitlich entwickelt werden und leiten entsprechende Anpassungsbedarfe hieraus ab

· Sie konzentrieren sich auf die funktionale und technische Gestaltung sowie die Dokumentation der User Stories im Sprint und Release

· Sie arbeiten eng mit Developern zusammen, um fachliche und technische Anforderungen sowie die Zielarchitektur gemeinsam effektiv aufeinander abzustimmen

· Sie unterstützen aktiv im Testing und leisten in der Definition sowie Erreichung von technischen Best Practices und Qualitätsstandards einen wertvollen Beitrag

Ihr Wissen und Ihre Erfahrungen

· Studium der Informationstechnologie, Mathematik, Technik, BWL oder Vergleichbares sowie nennenswerte berufliche Erfahrung

· Erfahrung in der Analyse fachlicher Anforderungen rund um das Settlement von Wertpapiergeschäften, inkl. der Verwahrung, Verwaltung, Abwicklung sowie Abrechnung von Wertpapieren

· Praktische Erfahrung mit Methoden und Werkzeugen der Geschäfts- und Funktionsprozessanalyse

· Wichtig sind Kenntnisse in Cobol, SQL (Mainframe), CICS; wünschenswert sind Kenntnisse in Confluence und Jira

· Kenntnisse im Bereich Zentralverwahrer (CSD) und Zentraler Kontrahent (CCP) sowie Erfahrung mit SWIFT-Nachrichtenstandards (ISO 15022 & ISO 20022) von Vorteil

· Proaktiver Teamplayer mit guten Kommunikationsfähigkeiten und Englischkenntnissen Deutschkenntnisse bzw. die Bereitschaft diese zu erlernen, wären ein Plus

Job description

Our Investments – Settlement & Advisory teams in Private Bank (TDI) develop and support applications related to the settlement and regulatory reporting of securities transactions of our clients. Regulatory changes to reporting as well as changes related to market standards are usually announced at short notice. The quality and stability of the applications are therefore as important as the timely delivery of the functionality.

Our agile DevOps model gives us the flexibility and efficiency to introduce new functions for our clients, while also ensuring high quality. Working from our locations in Germany and India, we use agile and virtual methods along with the diversity of our team, to drive our goals of function delivery, process improvement and internalisation of engineering.

As a senior engineer working on functional analysis, you will collaborate closely with business and functional units, product owners and the development team. You will support the modernisation of our application landscape with your engineering knowledge and add to the team with your business analysis and communication skills. You will work to a significant extent with agile tools (JIRA/Confluence) and practices in the context of the digitalisation of the Deutsche Bank.

Your key responsibilities

· Responsible for the functional analysis of various business requirements, especially using epics und user stories.

· Ensure integral development of the target processes and derive corresponding requirements for adjustments/changes/customisations.

· Focus on the functional and technical design as well as the documentation of user stories for the sprint and release.

· Work closely with the developers to harmonise the functional and technical requirements as well as the target architecture effectively.

· Actively support testing and make a valuable contribution towards achieving technical best practices and quality standards, as defined.

Your skills and experience

· University degree in information technology, mathematics, engineering, business management or similar and significant professional experience.

· Experience in the analysis of functional requirements related to settlement of securities transactions including depository as well as the technical message-flows.

· Practical experience with methods and tools of business and functional analysis.

· Knowledge of Cobol, SQL (Mainframe), CICS is important; knowledge of Confluence and Jira is desirable.

· Knowledge in Central Securities Depository (CSD) and Central Counterparty Clearing House (CCP) as well as experience with SWIFT-message standards (ISO 15022 & ISO 20022) would be an advantage.

· Pro-active team player with good communication and English language skills. German language skills would be a plus.
