      SUMMARY : Supports the Maintenance Department Leadership by performing various clerical tasks as required. Candidates should be proficient with and comfortable using a computer, iPad and other similar devices.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Support department leaders by assisting with the M3 work order management system.
      • Assist department leaders with coordinating necessary job-related equipment and supplies.
      • Assist as need with generating and sorting PM work orders for shifts.
      • Assist with organizing and maintaining equipment documentation and schematics.
      • Attend department meetings for documenting meeting notes.
      • Posting meeting notes on the departmental information board.
      • Keeping the safety information board up to date.
      • Assist with coordinating and posting department training schedules.
      • Promotes the culture, the mission and vision, and the core values of the company. This includes adherence to and promotion of the company safety beliefs, employee engagement, competencies, code of conduct, and other policies and procedures.

      EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

      High School diploma or equivalent, required.

      Basic computer competency – Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, required; ERP or other complex database experience, preferred.

      LANGUAGE SKILLS:

      Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports and correspondence in a clear and concise manner. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to speak effectively one-on-one or before groups and present information and respond to questions.

      MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

      Basic mathematical skills required.

      REASONING ABILITY:

      The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

      COMPUTER SKILLS:

      To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient with personal computers. Knowledge of MS Office Suite and basic internet use is required.

      MECHANICAL SKILLS:

      A basic understanding of mechanical terms and concepts is preferred but not required.
