      SUMMARY

      This position is responsible for day-to-day clerical and administrative duties to support effective and efficient operation of the department. The incumbent will also have additional duties in the absence of the other Maintenance Clerk.

      DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      May include, but are not limited to, the following:

      • Maintain accurate and up-to date files, records and documentation.

      • Maintain integrity and confidentiality of files and records.

      • Provide clerical support to departments, including document filing and organization.

      • Scheduling and tracking of appointments.

      • Manage plant wide uniform program.

      • Coordinate and manage maintenance wage vacation scheduling.

      • Enter and track requisitions for services and supplies.

      • Manage maintenance wage overtime system and assign employees accordingly.

      • Comply with Company Safety Policies and Procedures.

      • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

      • Manage daily work environment that includes constant priority changes.

      EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

      High School Degree as a minimum, but prefer an Associate’s degree.

      Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word and Excel) and the ability to develop a high level of proficiency in other computer systems.

      The ability to work with very little supervision, problem solving, organization and prioritizing skills, respond to multiple questions and request for information and effective communications and interpersonal skills.

      Ability to work well in a team environment, including cross-functional teams.

      PHYSICAL DEMANDS

      While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

      WORK ENVIRONMENT

      The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as normally based in an office. Some of the work may be required in the operating units which can require usage of required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, etc. May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs and elevators. Travel including air travel or auto travel may occasionally be required.
