      Job Title: Maintenance Coordinator


      Job Description

      We have an immediate opening for a Maintenance Coordinator on 1st shift. This role involves a combination of coordinating and hands-on maintenance activities on the floor. The ideal candidate will plan and coordinate maintenance activities, supervise repairs, and maintain the operating condition of buildings and equipment.

      Responsibilities

      • Plan and coordinate activities involved in the maintenance of facilities and equipment.
      • Supervise and provide work direction for repairs.
      • Maintain the operating condition of buildings and equipment.
      • Research, plan, and prepare proposals for the procurement of equipment and tools.
      • Diagnose problems and determine necessary repairs needed.
      • Implement a PM schedule to ensure work orders are released in a timely manner.
      • Supervise inventories of machine replacement parts, materials, and supplies to maintain proper levels.
      • Act as the point of contact for outside vendors.
      • Ensure company compliance with state and federal codes and laws.
      • Support the development of 5S, TPM, and Kaizen Programs.
      • Establish and execute a monthly plan.
      • Execute action items per the annual business plan to help achieve section key metrics (downtime reduction, cost reduction).
      • Administer performance reviews.

      Work Environment

      We have a total of 597 employees working across three shifts in an automotive seat manufacturing facility. Most of our machines are robotic welders used to create steel seats. We operate over 15 lines in the facility across three shifts. There are openings for A shift (1st shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm) and B shift (2nd shift: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm). Candidates must be flexible to work on weekends and up to 60 hours per week.

      Job Type & Location

      This is a Permanent position based out of New Castle, Indiana.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $63000.00 - $84000.00/yr.
