      Performs skilled maintenance and repair services of facility systems such as mechanical, electrical and building systems. Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. Knowledge of methods, practices and techniques of maintaining building and facilities. Acts as a team lead/deputy for the maintenance team to ensure efficient maintenance and repair of production equipment and facilities. Uses judgement to repair and maintain production equipment according to specifications and undertake preventative and predictive maintenance programs. Results can be readily checked for correctness.

      JOB PURPOSE

      The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the organization’s maintenance storeroom and parts management as a core function of the role. This includes maintaining accurate inventory records in the CMMS, conducting regular cycle counts, defining and managing min/max and reorder points for critical spares, issuing parts to work orders, receiving and inspecting incoming materials, and partnering with procurement to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs. In this capacity, the Coordinator establishes and enforces storeroom best practices—such as binning strategies, FIFO rotation, and ABC analysis—to ensure technicians have timely access to the right parts and tools. As backup for the Maintenance Planner and Scheduler, the Coordinator sustains planning continuity, directly contributing to equipment uptime, cost control, and the site’s safety and operational excellence.

      PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

      Manage the maintenance storeroom and parts inventory as a core function: maintain CMMS accuracy, conduct regular cycle counts, define min/max and reorder points, implement binning strategies (FIFO, ABC analysis), and partner with procurement to optimize stock levels and control costs.

      Assist with document control of preventive maintenance activities, maintaining accurate procedure documents, revision histories, and distribution logs to support audit readiness and operational consistency.

      Assist with kitting for scheduled jobs by assembling required parts and tools and issuing components against work orders.

      Requirements for the role:

      • High school diploma (minimum)

      • 3-5 years of experience in Maintenance department activities, including coordinating external maintenance services, scheduling maintenance PM and calibration services, and managing facility maintenance schedules

      • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Teams Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced data analysis, reporting, and spreadsheet management) and Microsoft Teams

      • Experience in document control and record keeping, ensuring accurate maintenance, organization, and retrieval of records in compliance with industry standards and regulatory
