  Job Title: Maintenance Electrician
  Job Description

  This role involves electrical maintenance with a primary focus on troubleshooting high-level electrical issues. The position requires working with complex equipment, primarily dealing with 3-phase 480v systems. Additionally, you will perform mechanical troubleshooting involving hydraulic and pneumatic components and carry out preventive maintenance on machines.

  Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve high-level electrical issues.
  • Handle 3-phase 480v systems and other complex electrical tasks.
  • Perform mechanical troubleshooting, including hydraulic and pneumatic components.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on various machines.
  • Work with multi-faceted machines such as rollers, ovens, and sprayers.
  • Troubleshoot equipment thoroughly to ensure proper repair, not just temporary fixes.
  • Build and set up new control panels with PLCs.
  • Write basic programs (2-3 steps) for equipment control.
  • Familiarize with and troubleshoot AC/DC drives and VFDs.

  Essential Skills

  • 5 years of PLC troubleshooting experience.
  • Proficient in electrical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read prints and schematics.
  • Experience in electrical maintenance and repair in an industrial setting.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with ovens.
  • Relevant certifications in electrical maintenance.

  Work Environment

  The role is based in a manufacturing facility that is non-climate controlled and not the cleanest. Working hours are from 3 PM to 11 PM. Weekend work is only expected during scheduled machine downtimes, and there are no Sunday shifts as there haven't been any in over 15 years.

  This is a Permanent position based out of Trail Creek, IN.

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
