Maintenance Electrician

Currently hiring a Maintenance Electrician in the Frankfort, IL area. Hiring immediately.

Shift: 1st shift, 7AM-3:30PM.

Monday - Friday. Must be open to working overtime.

Job Description

• Troubleshoot, adjust, and repair all electrical equipment, components, transducers, and complex timing and inspection devices.
• Perform preventative maintenance on assigned electrical systems.
• Identify inefficiencies and potential electrical problems, coordinating with the supervisor to address causes of malfunctions and correcting through programmable logic controls.
• Maintain and troubleshoot all electrical devices and equipment in the plant, including PLCs, AC and DC Drives, sensors, and motors.
• Perform maintenance on AC and DC power systems with voltage up to 480V.
• Assist in new installation and upgrades of equipment.

Essential Skills

• Electrical assembly experience in an industrial setting required.
• Mechanical and electrical skills.
• Troubleshooting and preventative maintenance abilities.
• Ability to read and comprehend electrical schematics, wiring, blueprints, and hydraulics.
• Experience with AC/DC motors and voltage up to 480V.
• Capability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds occasionally

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
