Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

• The Maintenance Specialist ET is responsible for conducting planned maintenance activities, installing, maintaining, and operating all plant electrical systems.
• The role involves troubleshooting and programming PLCs, observing safety regulations, and ensuring GMP and quality standards are met to maintain efficient production flow.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and operate all plant electrical systems, including switch gear, high/low voltage systems, drives, parts, and lighting.
• Set up electronic equipment for scheduled production runs.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electronic equipment, such as wiring, scales, and metal detectors.
• Troubleshoot and program PLCs and encoder systems, including wiring.
• Conduct daily/weekly electrical preventive maintenance.
• Fabricate custom electronic parts as needed.
• Implement safety devices on production lines.

Essential Skills

• Electrical troubleshooting to diagnose, maintain, and repair industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Preventive maintenance to ensure equipment functionality and minimize downtime.
• Experience with wiring and running conduit for special projects or installations.
• Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• PLC certification preferred.
• Knowledge of plant safety, GMPs, and confined spaces.
• Familiarity with electronic testing equipment and planned maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and prints.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39.07 - $39.07/hr.
