      Job Title: Maintenance Electrician ($30.00 - $35.00/hour)

      Job Description

      As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for performing scheduled preventative maintenance, equipment changeovers, and troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical problems. You will maintain proper records for maintenance, inventory of parts, and perform emergency repairs. Your role will include maintenance on Injection Molding machines, compressors, and conveyors, as well as working with robotic systems.

      Responsibilities

      • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical equipment including power and control wiring, motors, controls, electronic devices, and building electrical maintenance.
      • Troubleshoot PLC and other electronic systems and program machine logic systems.
      • Read and interpret schematics, parts manuals, blueprints, sketches, hydraulic diagrams, and machine manuals.
      • Diagnose hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and process problems with equipment as needed or directed.
      • Perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance tasks as outlined by the Maintenance Manager.
      • Continually evaluate equipment for areas of improvement and tag components or parts that need repair, replacement, or enhancement.
      • Perform scheduled production equipment changeovers as directed by the Maintenance Manager or Production Manager.
      • Conduct building maintenance as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
      • Maintain sufficient records to support the Computerized Maintenance Management Software including work orders and parts management.

      Essential Skills

      • Proficiency in pneumatics, mechanical, and preventive maintenance.
      • Experience with 3-phase electrical systems and ability to read blueprints.
      • Understanding of hydraulics, industrial maintenance, conveyors, and electrical systems.
      • Competence in troubleshooting, industrial repair, relay systems, and electrical maintenance.
      • Experience with injection molding machines or other industrial equipment
      • Skilled in PLC troubleshooting and schematic interpretation.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Experience in reading and interpreting schematics, parts manuals, blueprints, and sketches.
      • Ability to troubleshoot and program machine logic systems.
      • Familiarity with electronic devices and building electrical maintenance.

      Work Environment

      This position is open for the 2nd shift, operating from 3pm - 11:30pm and 3rd shift, operating from 11pm to 7:30am, in a SQF certified manufacturing environment.

      This is a Permanent position based out of Rockford, Illinois.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $68640.00/yr.
