Job Description

Join a dedicated maintenance team within a meat packaging and processing company located in Kansas City, Kansas. We are seeking a technician who is highly mechanical, eager to learn, and ready to expand their skill set in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Work with pneumatics and industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting, including PLCs, conduit, and controls.
• Utilize CMMS for maintenance tracking and reporting.
• Handle equipment installs and ensure proper motor controls operation.
• Manage hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years in industrial maintenance.
• Mechanical troubleshooting expertise.
• Experience with motor controls and equipment installation.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Very mechanically inclined

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, ammonia, and refrigeration systems.
• Fabrication or welding is a big plus!
• Electrical troubleshooting up to 480 V.
• PLC troubleshooting and controls experience.
• CMMS experience is a plus.

Work in a 47,000 square foot facility, with refrigerated areas. Enjoy a close-knit culture with only two maintenance technicians. The position offers a day shift from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of KANSAS CITY, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
