- General Maintenance:
- Perform basic repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment malfunctions.
- Assist in performing preventive maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts.
- Facility Upkeep:
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building and surrounding areas.
- Ensure that equipment and tools are properly stored and maintained.
- Perform minor painting, drywall repair, and other general upkeep tasks.
- Troubleshooting and Repair:
- Identify and diagnose issues with machinery, equipment, and systems.
- Collaborate with senior maintenance staff or contractors for more complex repairs.
- Report any major issues or hazards to supervisors for resolution.
- Record Keeping:
- Document maintenance and repair activities, including work orders and completed tasks.
- Track inventory of supplies and parts for timely reordering.
- Update maintenance logs and reports regularly.
- Safety Compliance:
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks.
- Report any unsafe working conditions or equipment issues.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for interacting with team members and supervisors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to handle lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent (some technical training or certification may be preferred but not required).
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours or on-call shifts if required.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment.
